Product Information: Plicast®️ Super HyMOR 80 KK is a bauxite based ultra-low cement castable. The lime content in this material is very low due to the significant reduction in the cement. The lower lime content enhances the properties and characteristics of this Super HyMOR material at higher temperature as compared to other HyMOR castables. Other advantages include:
- Improved hot strength at elevated temperatures >2000oF
- Excellent high temperature load deformation and creep resistance.
- High alumina matrix for improved alkali attack and slag attack resistance
- Excellent abrasion resistance: 8cc
- Positive volume stability at elevated temperature
- Plicast Super HyMOR 80 KK has good flow and setting characteristics allowing it to be place by vibration, casting or pumping.
