Product Information: Plicast® LWI 26 is a low-iron, high temperature insulating castable. With a service limit of 2600°F, Plicast LWI 26 possesses moderate density and good thermal efficiency. The combination of its density and thermal efficiency allows this product to be used as either an effective backup insulating component, or as a primary lining material in less demanding, moderate temperature applications. It’s low-iron content make it ideal for reducing atmospheres. Product advantages include:
