Product Information: Plicast® HyMOR® TSR Plus KK is a thermal shock resistant low cement castable. Utilizing a fused silica aggregate system with a mullite matrix, this castable was engineered to have exceptional thermal shock resistance and improved physical properties as compared to other singular fused silica thermal shock resistant castables. Plicast HyMOR TSR Plus KK’s product characteristics include:
- Excellent thermal shock resistance
- Hot strength at over a wide temperature range
- Low abrasion loss <10cc
- Good fracture and crack resistance
- Low thermal expansion
- Moderate density
- Maximum cycling use temperature of 2500®F
