Product Information: Pligun®️ LWI 106 is a low density insulating gun mix that can be gunned or cast. Developed primarily as a backup insulating component, with a service limit of 2000°F and acceptable strength, it can also be used as a hot face lining in low temperature applications such as heater and homogenizing furnaces. Product advantages include:
- Low density – 35 pcf gunned or cast
- Adequate CCS and hot strength
- Low thermal conductivity
- Good gunability and performance
- Can be cast (80 – 90% water)
