Product Information: Plicast®️ HyREZIST®️ 3000 KK is a 55% alumina, hybrid bond castable. Designed to be a user friendly castable, it utilizes a high cement content with silica fume and dispersants to maintain its physical properties over a wide water range. Product characteristics and advantages include:
- Moderate density
- Excellent strength – cold and hot, from room temperature thru intermediate temperatures <2000°F
- Very good, consistent abrasion resistance though the same range <10cc loss
- Low iron content for use in reducing environments
- Installation versatility with a wide water range – vibration cast, cast or pump
