Product Information: Plicast®️ HyMOR®️ 98V KK is an ultra-high alumina, low cement castable. Developed with high purity alumina aggregate, and containing essentially no silica or iron oxides, this castable ends up as one of the strongest in the line of refractories. The key to this materials strength is the low cement technology admixtures that are combined with vibration casting installation methods. This partnership allows for a water reduction that yields higher densities, lower porosity, and better physical attributes. Improved performance characteristics include:

• High density >195 pcf
• Low porosity <16%
• Very high hot strength at elevated temperatures 2000+psi @2500°F
• High crushing strength
• Low load deformation < -1.5% @ 3000°F
• Improved slag corrosion resistance
