Florida, Georgia and Ohio Employees Receive Top Safety Honors,
Supporting Operational Excellence and Customer Satisfaction
Northbrook, IL, June 25, 2018 – Plibrico Company, LLC has awarded top safety honors to employees at its refractory construction operations in Bartow, Florida; Allentown, Georgia; and Salem, Ohio, along with employees at its Oak Hill, Ohio, manufacturing facility for their superior safety performance. All four locations have achieved an impressive accomplishment: completing a full year of operations without an OSHA lost time “recordable” accident.
“This type of superior safety performance and operational excellence leads to our higher levels of customer satisfaction,” said by Jeff Beetz, Plibrico Vice President/General Manager of Construction Operations.
Beetz went on to say, “Plibrico’s Greater Georgia Operations in Allentown, GA, has now been recognized four years in a row with the award. This year’s award continues to build upon Allentown’s significant compliance and safety honors, and puts it well on its way to year five.
Employees from each of the awarded locations received a Plibrico Safety Jacket in recognition for their accident-free service and to upholding the company’s commitment to a safe work environment. For each of these deserving employees, the jackets serve as a badge of honor that broadcasts that they are an integral part of Plibrico’s ongoing, extensive drive to create zero-incident workplaces.
With June being National Safety Month, Plibrico President and CEO Brad Taylor attributes all four of the offices’ safety records to the company’s ongoing efforts in conducting safety audits and risk analysis, along with employee training, emergency preparedness, and sharing best-practices.
